Crypt of Decay

Crypt of Decay is the chapel crawl to flag the Bertoxxulous basement, then the basement raid. Access is Grummus.

Carprin respawns in 3 days. Bertoxxulous 3 days. Named after Carprin are event spawns.

Access

Kill Grummus in Plane of Disease. Hail the Planar Projection, push the decaying pipe in his room, and drop down.

Chapel

Kill Fran Prisoal, Breddan Rutyl, and Abroan Drian first. Fran corpse camps. The guards despawn in 13 minutes. Carprin is shielded until all three are dead. When the last one dies the shield fades and Carprin Deatharn becomes attackable. He is Unslowable. He mem-blurs. Named despawn if the chapel sits too long.

Kill one named to spawn the next further in.

1. Carprin Deatharn — Unslowable. Theft of Life 3500 lifetap. Mem-blur.
2. Avhi Escron — Permarooted. Unslowable. Rampage. Four reavers on spawn, four more whenever someone leaves hate. Do not FD.
3. Bishop Toluwon — Permarooted. Slowable. Flurry. Interrupt Touch of Life (10,000 heal). Trash in his room activates when he spawns.
4. Raex Pwodill and Vindor Mawnil — fought together. Raex is Unslowable and Rampages (delay 24). Vindor is Slowable and Flurries (delay 10). Both proc Lifeshock (5000 lifetap).
5. High Priest Ultor Szanvon — untargetable until both generals are dead. Permarooted. Unslowable. Casts Enveloping Entropy (unresistable 90% slow).

Hail Tarkil Adan when the High Priest is dead. He lasts 10 minutes and can give up to 36 flags, killer’s raid or group only. He tells you to click the bone throne at the ruins entrance.

Basement

Click the bone throne at zone-in. You need the Tarkil flag.

Kill Spectre of Corruption (230k HP) to start Bertoxxulous. Stay in the main room. Pull hallways. Waves of knights, priests, and necromancers of Decay. Twelve Adan kings spawn through the event. The last four spawn together: Meedo, Qezzin, Pzo, and Bhaly. Bhaly is Unslowable and Flurries.

He is Unslowable. Rampage. Dual Wield. Hits 1957. 600k HP. Casts Rot of the Plaguebringer (PBAE, 500 DD + ATK -150, Disease -500, 72 disease counters).

Hail the Planar Projection. It only answers the killer’s raid or group, lasts 10 minutes, and can give up to 72 flags. You need the Tarkil flag for that hail. If you already finished the Grummus path through Adler’s ward, it also tells you to visit Milyk Fuirstel in Plane of Tranquility.
